As you know I own this website. I started it with a clear vision of how I wanted it run and what it would offer. During the last few months of operation, I have tried to make many improvements to enhance your visits here. Some are good, some not so good, but I am trying.

In the forums, I set up many different forums for different topics. In this way, if a member wants only to read/post serious things, he/she can do so and expect serious responses. On the other hand, if someone wants to read or post funny things, that type of forum is provided also. I want things compartmentalized for ease of use by you members.

Some moderators were needed to make sure that these specific forums stayed on topic and do what it was focused on. A few people asked about being moderators, and I allowed them to be, thinking that they would abide by my wishes and instructions as owner of the website.

I perhaps was not clear enough in my wishes and instructions, or perhaps some of the people chosen to be moderators thought they knew better, so I had to set my foot down about what was being allowed on the specific forums. Some of these moderators took serious issue with it so I took away their moderating privileges as is my right.

Now, something has come up that I must apologize to you about. These prior moderators have gone into the site's members list and sent emails and PM's to some of you. I am sorry that you have been caught up in their drama and have been bothered with this type of email. Regretfully, I have had to remove these people from membership in the website due to this invasion of your privacy.

My sole purpose in having the websites I do is to provide information about the industry in a safe, organized manner and to provide a pleasurable website experience for the members of my sites. I cannot do so without having some hard and fast rules and having some like minded people involved with helping me run the forums. Without these things and people, it would not be long before ExpediterWorld goes the way of many other websites and deteriorates into chaos.
