Like my username, I'm a complete newbie. Got some OTR and local driving & having a problem finding local work. Maybe this is the answer. Should've used "Sponge" as a username as I'm doing heavy research!
Thanks for having me!!:unibrow:

Okay, here's a couple:
Is the expediting side of trucking as affected by the economy as regular OTR trucking?
Without contacting all the company's that are looking for OO's, are there any that have freight lanes that are plains states operational ie: I-29 or I-80 corridor?
I'm finding out that I shouldn't expect to see hometime but once every 3 weeks or so. Is that normal for the industry?
There...enough to get started!

1. From my standpoint i am doing very well, but i can not really comment on this question.
2. Sometimes they have dedicated routes, but in the expediting business 48 States plus Canada is a necessity.
3. Yes it is normal. Unless you have no obbligations to attend to at home I would stay out as long as possible.
To me staying out longer than 3 weeks is more profitable into my wallet.

1. It's been slower this year for me but we are still ok.
2. You maybe able to find someone who needs a ded. rt. cover but the more States you run the better
3. The longer the better.
