Ya know, if you are reading something on any forum, it doesn't take a whipstich of time to post a little comment...anything will do to encourage those of us who do post to keep doing so.
Even just a 'good' 'bad' or 'terrible' is better than nothing. So please leave some sort of comment behind after you read a post. That way we know someone has been by and is paying attention...[smilie=peek a boo!:

There was a thread on Matt Millen a few months ago, and there was some complaining about us discussing something they thought was unimportant. I lurked for a few weeks after that.

To some of us, it was important.

Molly, I see that was your thread that was hijacked. Can you Lions fans do us Packer fans a favor and send Millen to the Vikings or Bears?

Roger, what is going on with semi-retired Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre?

It looks like Brett is thinking about taking the $20 million marketing deal to stay in Green Bay. I think he should shut up and take the money, while waiting for an injury. That way he can come riding in on a white horse and save the team.

It was in the Press Gazette offices where the Packers were formed 90 years ago so they will always be a part of the team.

Sorry if we hijacked your thread LG. I was just trying to show how some can be turned off to posting at times.

It's ok Rogernoel...things like that happen. I have a yahoo group where we stay focused on our goals...the education of new and prospective drivers...strictly moderated forum. We were talking about something to do with safety and some young woman starting trying to post stupid replies to peoples questions and comments...distracted everyone...bad deal.
Then she kept hitting every post no matter the topic with tax questions, wanting full explanations of almost legal advice...well, we are not qualified to do that, so I had to stop it...lost a few members over it, but as owner of the group, I have to take that stand sometimes. People quit posting for awhile...some came back and posted some haven't...many people think I am an evil woman..lol...but there has to be rules on groups or they just go to heck quickly...
The difference I think is how long it carries on...if the conversation just leads to other topics like on this thread with you and Molly...you were replying to my post with your explaination, then Molly replied...natural progression, not intentional highjacking, that is one thing, but a new thread can always be put up too...but to deliberately go in and start talking about a totally different topic all together on a thread isn't fair to the poster IMO.
These groups of websites TSUSA etc are really well set up with a variety of topicked forums...makes it nice I think. Wish yahoo groups offered their groups like that...but the free ones, like mine, only have the one forum...oh well, it is free...lol
