Driver Council

I was reading somewhere about Panther starting a Driver's Council. I know Fed Ex has something similar to this but I must admit, that's about all I know. Does anyone here know more about it, i.e. who is on it, how do you contact these people, how often do they meet, etc??

It's probably a myth, either that or they chose operaters that haven't
the guts to say anything about important issues.

They are the ones who always say "yes". Also they will never complane about anything to anyone at FedEx.

You guys are 100% wrong.I personally know of 2 contractors that are part of the council and believe me they ,are not yes sir types. Both of them question and make demands on the part of ther contractors and drivers.
But Fedex could do a better job bringing the meetings topics and resoltuions to every one.

Every meeting should be published :cheers: On the other hand every contractor should know who is in the council . I am 12 years with FEDEX CC and never heard one name.

Only one of my drivers a former O/O told me that he was a member of that council ;)
