Recently had a clogged fuel filter in our PROHEAT generator. Not sure where we bought the bad fuel but the generator started by running a little rough now and then. This past weekend it would sputter to the point of almost dieing. We checked to see if there was a PROHEAT service dealer in the area and lo and behold there was. We called and they told us to come right over and they would see what they could do for us. Not only did they pull the truck right into the shop, they immediatly did the repairs, serviced the unit AND did the newest upgrades for the unit.

This most excellent shop:
CARRIER TRANSICOLD OF UTAH
5209 WEST 700 SOUTH
SALT LAKE CITY, UT 84104
MEREDITH CRETELLA-SERVICE WRITER
PHONE:{801} 736-5209

The guys in the shop were pleasant to deal with, unhurried, and CLEAN. The shop was clean as well. To us, that always shows a business cares about not only their business but you and your truck.

If you happen to be in the SLC area and need work done or just need service done on either your generator or your reefer Carrier Transicold of UT is the place to go. We highly recommend them!!!

I originally posted this in the Straight Shooters Forum. I decided with this new forum I needed to move it here so others would be sure to check it out.

Hey Sparky,
Glad to hear a good experience involving Proheat!
We have had 2 units and trying to find someone able to diagnose and repair sd units was a pain. Thow some haven't had as much luck with them Crows in Memphis did a good job for us.
On the flip if you have a Rigmaster the dealer in Kansas City Kansas is the man and to make things better his shop is right by a Rigmaster parts dist center.

Yes sir as a matter of fact its
Auxillary Power Products
15752 souith Mahaffie Street
Olathe KS 66062
Ph# 913-397-6722
It is located right off the 35 south of the loop in KC if memory serves.
My condensor fan quit working and instead of taking it to KW I took it here and the owner came out and diagnosed the problem as a inline fuse (tucked in behind motor) that I didn't know about, he replaced with new and Voila.
His charge for the 15 min and part 0, zilch, nada.
Wish I could remember his name but I suffer from Crs
