While watching the weather forcasts for much of the NE, I was reminded of a saying by my Grandfather. I first heard it after complaining of the heat, and wishing for winter, while stacking peanuts one summer.

I have a couple from my mentor and teacher Kenneth E Hagin.
When someone did something really stupid he'd say:
