HI Everyone !
Both air ride seats in my truck have been squeaking since the day I bought the truck no matter how much grease was pumped into the grease fittings on the base.
I called National Seating @1-800-222-7328 and talked to customer service and told them of the squeaking and they told me that the seats have a 7yr./ 1 million mile warranty and that as soon as they can build me new bases that they'd ship them out as soon as possible at no charge!
Hope this helps!
Oh! if someone out there needs a couple of bases and I don't have to return these to National Seating, I'd be happy to give them up for free, just let me know and as soon as I get them unbolted! they're yours. 1st. come basis.

What you need, instead of fixing the squeek, is a louder stereo.

It is great to hear about companies like National Seating who honor their warranties and service their customers well. They could have just said a squeak is not a defect ;)
Great info!
Drive safely and squeak free,

It's also great to see someone readily willing to give something to another person.
My hat is off to you 67NOVA !

Just returned home from a handfull of runs and there at my side door was two boxes from National Seating.
Now if I can find that package of ambition that should have came with them then I'll be set!
All kidding aside I'll start replacing the bases tommorow! and I don't think the better half will bring out her honey do list until I get this job done because the squeaking gets to her as well.
Well merkurfan I didn't find anything in the boxes telling me to send the old ones back so lets start working out the arrangements, gotta say that the shipping cost may be high because these babies are pretty heavy!

I think you should charge Merkur a few bucks to include the squeaks :brightidea:

Hey merkurfan !
Just went to the garage and used my(never needed it before) fish weighing scale for real big fish and weighed the bases and they weigh 40 lbs. each.
Could you give me your zip code so that I can look up the shipping charges with Ups ?
Or we can instant message through yahoo if you'd rather, It's my wifes yahoo acct.

55335 is my ship to address :) thanks much. Also my handle here is the same as my yahoo one.
We too have had the squeaky seat problem and you're right, the grease into the fittings dont work BUT if you go to an auto parts store and get yourself a can of white lithium grease and spray all your jonts, nuts, bolts, etc., you will never hear another squeak again. It also works great on door hinges, landing gear, etc.
