Ok all you van drivers-- your moderator needs your help. I am wondering where to get those little covers you guys put over the windows on the side doors and in the back. They are gray and they go on the inside of the window. Anyone know?

I'm not sure that I'm on the same page here, with you Wolf-exp....
If your talking about the snap-on covers that come with sleeper cabs...
then you might try a company dealership to see if they have styles you need to replace.
It may be that you need something custom made to replace, repair, or install..... A headliner shop or upholsterer might could do the job.
I remember, in the Freightliner truck, there was a channel in which one could order a curtain to turn the whole cabin private.... curtain had to be ordered......pricey. But I found a generic curtain which provided the privacy for about 15, at a truck stop. It has hooks that catch onto the seatbelt harness, and wraps across the front by attaching to the sunvisors. Very nice.... Feel coccooned inside, in very efficient but adequate living quarters. I've seen some drivers just black paint the windows to keep out the light....But the fabric kind can add insulation against the heat or cold, absorb some noise, and shut out the light effectively.
Maybe some one else can add to suggestions... or know where to find what you're looking for.

No im talking on a cargo van. I've seen a lotta cargo vans that have window covers that look like the sun blocks you put in the front window-- but they are made for the windows on the side cargo doors and the rear doors. Id like to use those on the windows instead of the curtains.
For everyones info-- yes I am going into trucking... but I am keeping my van because I have found a driver to put in it. So I'll have the best of both worls :dork:
