A few dummys every so often. Today I used one of mine.

Today (tuesday) I got a call from work for a load that picks up at Delphi in Columbus and goes up to Jackson Michigan. Miles is 198 paid. Without thinking I say yes. When I get there then I start thinking.

198 Loaded miles was paid. But it just hit me. From Lima to Columbus is 100 miles dead head-- No pay. That means Im actually only getting paid for 98 miles of this run!! What a rip! LOL.

So thats my dummy for this month. Many more to come im sure. But next time Ill pay more attention. :dork: :cheers:

We all do that ONCE....I think:
One of mine, not nearly as important $ wise....but OH my aching back....was a K'Mart 2 stop drop with driver unload.... What made it even worse was having to break down an unpalletized load that was all the way to the top...Safety says never pull out from the middle... K-mart says, they don't supply the step ladder....What they didn't tell me...they really don't suppply the runners in working condition either to move the frieght to the end of the trailer.... OOOPs....I'll always check for finger printing in the future.....and NEVER EVER accept a K-Mart load.
