it seem like we just can't get out of buyou country.this is like 3 weeks in a row that we have been here.(not waiting that long, just keep getting sent back here)this is kinda scary for a D unit with a tag axle(we are constantly dodging the scales at the entrances to the state.the ones in the middle of the state don't bother us).

hi ken, that is what we used to do when we came into LA. but it seems that they have gotten smarter and know what kind of trucks to look for,so up or down they will check you out. as you may recall from earlier posts, this is not a weight issue.they see straight trucks with dual rear axles and want to see where the controls for the aux. axle is located. in LA. the controls cannot be in the cab. :bye:

sidecar..yes I do remember that issue from another thread! what abunch of anal people!! you big guys have way too many headaches for me!
Thats just another reminder why I don't want to upgrade to scale level.
Ken, anal is right!! I was driving that day and I gotta tell ya, it made me sick. Not only are they watching us, this guy sees me in line, comes out of the building with his arms crossed and stood there waiting on me. Before I even got to the scale, he was at my window asking questions. Now you want anal, through all of this, after the paperwork was finished, I had to pull back around to the scale because they hadn't even paid attention to what I weighed the first time!! Talk about a bunch of rip off artists!!!!!!!! :yikes: :yikes: :yikes: :yikes: :yikes:
