Many of us over-the-road truck drivers that are XM Radio subscribers became infuriated recently when it was discovered that The Weather Channel had been discontinued when they merged with Sirius.

To Whom It May Concern,

As a loyal XM Radio subscriber and an over-the-road truck driver who relies on the service for news and other vital information, I was disappointed with the recent discontinuation of The Weather Channel.

which was broadcasted on XM 125.

While I have been made aware of the weather in major metropolitan areas being broadcasted on their respective traffic channels, I depended on The Weather Channel to monitor the weather in regions I may be traveling to that are not covered in any way now.

Please take into consideration the fact that truckers like myself are a major part of the XM Satellite Radio subscriber base and how much it would benefit us to have The Weather Channel re-included in the channel lineup, especially with the approaching winter season.

Thank You for your prompt action in this matter.

Best Regards,
